Guys, would this be a good birthday present from your girlfriend?

Ok so a few days ago was our year anniversary, we were on a trip with some of our friends and they didn't know when we got together so we really couldn't celebrate our anniversary. But anyway in a few weeks is his birthday, and this year I wanted to go with a more sentimental theme rather than buying him something he will never use. I thought that I would make him roses that I always make, but have never gave him, out of his fav colors, then compile a collage of pictures from the first time we met. I would love to get something like this from him, but do guys like these kind of things?? or would guys rather have items such as video games or sports stuff???
